    New 2013 CBS Base WRX

    Hey Everyone!

I purchased my first Subaru last week and wanted to drop by and introduce myself to everyone. First off thanks for all of the super informative threads, I come from the Honda world so I have had hundreds of questions and so far I haven't found any that I couldn't answer here. I probably won't be posting all that much off the bat but in time I hope to feel right at home in the Subaru world.

I will try to get some higher resolution images if by some miracle we have a decent weekend left in this summer!

    Safe driving,

    - Nate

    Welcome!

First thing I would recommend is Opti-coat or something similar. Keep that paint pristine while you have the chance! Subaru paint is terrible!

Small world. I just bought my SWP hatch from Manchester as well. Just picked it up Tuesday night.

    Congrats!

Most recently a 2006 RSX-S in NBP, before that a 1994 DC2 - but it was time for some more utility and AWD (New England winters...)

Hey thanks for the heads up! I was looking into a few different options to kind of seal up the shine so I will have to check out Opti-coat.

    I had a TGM 94 DC2 myself. Great car!

No worries man, it's definitely worth it to get that done asap.

The DC2 will always be one of my favorites. Is that an easy enough first time DIY?

I personally wouldn't try to apply it myself but, if you're proficient at detailing I'm sure you could watch a few videos and knock it out.

One of the detailing members of the forum, Methodical4U, posted a thread about it. I'll try and find the link.

Thanks for tracking that down! After doing a little research I think its a bit beyond my skill level so I have a few feelers out at the moment to see the best place to get it done in my area.

Yeah man! Born and raised in NH and I wouldn't want to live anywhere else. Upper-right USA forever.
