2002 Subaru wrx short block build up questions!

Hey guys im new to club wrx and i just had a few questions!
If i sound like i dont know anything its because i dont and im trying to learn everything i can. Okay so my question is if i rebuild my shortblock in my subaru wrx, is it going to bolt up fine to the rest of my motor? Or would i have to get a fully new ej20?
    Thanks guys!

When you rebuild your engine you should have the heads machined as well. Everything will bolt back on water/oil pump, belts, pulleys, heads. What exactly are you confused about? You will not need to buy a new motor.

    A rebuild is usually
    -pistons and rings
    -gaskets
    -bearings
    -water/oil pump
    -belts
    -pulleys
    -maybe rods, maybe crankshaft
Also, the cylinders are machined out and they become slightly larger in diameter, meaning you need slightly oversized piston rings. Also, the heads are machined down so they fit perfectly on the shortblock again.

Rebuilding the heads is another story...
