    Bought my first WRX!!! Sorta...

My POS Lancer was totaled a little over a week ago (luckily no injuries) and while car shopping I instantly fell in love with the WRX. I ended up finding a dealer that had the EXACT WRX Premium I was configuring online incoming. After some negotiations I ended up putting money down on it. I'm so freaking excited that I'm not only getting the exact color and options I wanted but also will have it before it gets beat on during test drives . Sadly, I'm being told that despite being listed as "in the port" on 8/1, it'll still be at least a week before it arrives . Unfortunately, this also means extending my rental car about a week past when the insurance stops paying for it .

    It's a 2013 WR Blue Pearl 5-Door WRX Premium with short-throw shifter.

Prior to the Lancer I had the following:
    2003 Passat 1.8T
    1994 BMW 325iS
    1996 Mustang Cobra
    1993 Camaro Z28 (running mid-12's 1/4 mile)

So needless to say I had been itching for a fun car again but also needed something practical for driving 2 kids around from time to time.

Thanks . It's probably my 2nd favorite color of any car I can even think of (only behind the sort of cobalt blue the mustang was available in around 2003-2004). It's going to look amazing parked in the garage arcade!

Love the quote in your sig BTW, LOL.

Nice, hope u enjoy it! Wish I had that many miles on mine

Then again I'm driving a 2010 wrx with only 25k...still low mileage.

Just don't have too much fun! And get those windows tinted, will look even better!
