Hello! New to WRX's and the site.

    Hello everyone!

My name is Nathaniel and I'm new not only to this site, but also to WRX's in general. I've always wanted one, but I just recently got the chance to get one before I head off to the great state of New Mexico for more school. Currently I live in Volcano, Ca but will be heading out to Albuquerque in 3 days. I picked up a 2002 WRX hatchback in great shape and I'm very happy with it. Kinda a dream come true for me right now.

I have been reading around here and already discovered a lot of useful information and happily supported this site since I think I'll be sticking around and I'm sure I'll get a lot of help out of folks here as a new owner.

The WRX I bought is not stock and I have a list of upgrades that the owner provided me of what has been done. Before I bought it I had my mechanic inspect it and it's in great shape and runs amazingly, but I'm not really sure what exactly a lot of this stuff is/does or if/why it's so special. I'm not 100% sure where to post to ask this, so hopefully I could be given some direction as I didn't just want to dump it here.

I'll post pictures of my car tomorrow when it's light. I'm excited to be here and I look forward to learning a lot!

I snapped a couple quick pictures this morning. I'm afraid living here in the mountains, it's kinda a loosing battle with dust unless I wash it every single day. So I end up washing once a week.

Thanks. I actually didn't think I would like the whole bug-eye thing as much as I do, but it's grown on me.

Quite a bit of mods! I would definitely ask the previous owner where he had the car tuned, so you can get in contact with the tuner who is familiar with the car should any issues pop up.
