First time STI. It's a dream come true!

Hello all. I just bought a '13 WR blue STI sedan yesterday and let me tell you I am still smiling from the test drive. I have been a car enthusiast even when I was a kid. I remember telling my mom I wanted a '92 civic for a car when I was 10 years old. This was right after I played Gran Turismo 1 for the first time, lol.

After living in Japan for a year or so and living in Hawaii for 6 years, I knew I wanted a WRX from the first time I saw one. I test drove one in '07 and then again in '09. I couldn't get one at the time due to family and having a kid, but that didn't stop me from enjoying the quality of Subaru. I had purchased an '09 Forester I just traded for my STI, and I also own a '12 Outback.

I am planning on running my car in auto cross then moving on to bigger track events eventually. Anyway, I am itching to just drive around the neighborhood now, so take it easy!

No, actually. I was in the Tokyo area, which is also where my wife is from, and the funny thing about drifting is that it is a past time enjoyed by what we Americans would consider "rednecks". Lol. Its primarily done out in the country side/rural areas. Still a TON of awesome cars and car culture in the city though.
