    I think you made the right decision in going with the '09. ANY car with flood damage is a huge risk and for 20k I would have done the same thing you did; find an older model for a better deal.

    I ended up picking out a new wrx. Dark gray with a short throw shifter for 26k! Getting it Aug 12

    My vote is a NO.

    Sounds like a potential money pit to me. Better to be safe than sorry! For 5k more, you could get a brand new 2013 WRX with a clean history (aka NONE) and full warranty.

    *Quick shout out to Hacksaw... nice car choice! We need to make a thread for us SE owners on here (if there isn't already)
