    Hello everyone!

I just signed for a new 2013 World Rally Blue 4dr WRX Sedan this past Wednesday, but waiting for it arrive. Got the call on Friday that they were able to locate one for me, but only to receive another call that the dealer they were going to trade with already sold it that morning. Honest to say that my heart broke a little bit

I received a call yesterday that they were able to locate another one, but the bad news this time was that it had only just arrived in Vancouver; I'm in Toronto, Ontario, lol so I still have some time to wait till it gets to me.

I can't wait! lol I'll posts pics as soon as I can. Looking forward to learning lots from everyone!

Oh, I'm getting 20% tints on both the front and back side windows, I was wondering if anyone has had any trouble with 20s while on the road, in terms of being stopped for them. Let me know your experiences!

Welcome to the forum. I have 20%. TBH I'd have rather gotten something lighter. Something lighter lessen the chances of getting pulled over & it'd be easier to see outside at night.

The WRB is an awesome color! I ended up getting the Dark Gray Metallic 3 weeks ago. I tinted the sides with 35%, but I also tinted the windshield 50%. I would like them a little darker actually, but it still looks nice!!

    Welcome!

I have 20% all around including a strip on the top of my windshield and it's perfect. Keeps it cool and makes the car look much more aggressive

welcome. i used to have 20% all around and never was bothered by police.

i now have 10% and havent had any issues either. cops around here really dont care (unless they pull you over for something else first, then they give you a ticket for everything lol)

Thanks everyone! Your input is definitely much appreciated!

I think I'm going to call and ask them to bring the tint to 30% instead, since I do drive a lot at night. I would like to have better visibility during that time.

    Thanks again guys!
Just going to sit here and twiddle my thumbs and wait for the phone call lol

    Welcome fellow Canadian,

I have 20% all around as well, I've even experience cops who will spot my car on the side of the road.. wait for me to leave, and pull me over while my windows are completely down and still use that as their excuse for the traffic stop.

In Toronto, cops are busy enough with real calls that they will most likely leave you alone.. however, if they suspect you for something like impaired driving after seeing you leave a bar... Then unfortunately they can use your window tint and a reason to stop you and investigate further.

I went with 30 for this reason too. I had 15 in the back on my old car, and just plain couldn't see out of it at night. Never had a problem with 30, I think it's a good compromise between adding some privacy but still allowing LEO to see into the car, which is usually their beef.

I have 35 all around and looks really good. It provides protection and classy look IMO.

Hey all, as promised, pics! Finally picked her up on Friday, after two weeks of waiting!

Decided to get the 30s all around, she's definitely a sharp looking car, and can be spotted from anywhere lol
