    Turbo!!! I need help

I have a wrx. I think something is wrong with my turbo it's not boosting and and something sounds deep like a deep rumble. I put a new blow off valve on so not sure if that has anything to do with this or not. Any body got any info?

It's a 09 impreza wrx. I am not to sure if it is or not. The one I got is a turbosmart plumb black. It says recirculating. I just hooked it right up and went. Didn't know if there was anything to do.

Sounds like you have a hole in your fuel map.

    Isn't a fuel map just a sensor.

    Need some advice!

So my wrx isn't boosting. I have no idea where to start. This is my first turbo car. It isn't making a wining noise that I can tell. Anyone can help would be greatly appreciated.

Well what have you done to it? I'm sure you're getting boost. If it's stock, you will hear virtually nothing of the likes of turbo.
No whoosh, no hiss, no whining.

The car wouldn't move if your turbo wasn't working, is all I'm saying.

The only reason I can think of for absolutely zero boost -- this means the motor is operating at vacuum or at most atmospheric pressure -- is if the C-clip on the control arm were to have fallen off. If you were adjusting the WG arm at one point this is suspect.

Otherwise, define precisely what "not boosting" means and list all modifications.

I have only put a new bov on it but I switched it back out for the stock and it didn't make a difference. When I hit the rpm range for the boost to kick in nothing happens just sounds like a engine running on high rpm's
