    New to the WRX club

Hello everyone, I just bought my very first WRX. It's a 2011 WRX hatch, in black. I've been modding cars for awhile now, but this is by far the nicest platform I've started with. I've always wanted one of these bad boys since I was about 12, and now that I have one, It really feels like a dream come true. I have some modest plans for this car as it is my DD, but I do plan to make it personalized. I'm open to suggestions as I really don't know too much about these cars yet. I've been lurking and researching the forums the past few days though, and I've come up with a short list on what I want to throw on.

    Intake (AEM, or Cobb)
Down pipe (not sure yet, TurboXS?)
    Exhaust (probably magnaflow)
    STI TMIC
    STI Shift Knob
    Short Throw Shifter
    Tinted Windows
    As well as a tune

    Anyways, here's a pic!

Congrats on the car. You shouldnt be able to put a STI TMIC since the intake manifold is set up different but there are a lot of options out there.

This. Sorry, I've had a few beers and didn't catch that. You can't just directly swap in a STI IC.

Yea, I figured it wasn't a cut and paste job, I know the sti manifold holds some gains as well.

    Thanks for the welcome!

If you are going to replace the manifold there is more then just a direct swap.
STi intake manifold on 2011 WRX???

People have been successful with making a fair amount of power and still use the stock wrx manifold. I would focus on other modifications but again its you car

Honestly, that's why I posted though, to get feedback. Like I said, I'm still learning a lot about these cars as I go. Thanks for everyone's input! Keep it coming!

Definitely on my mind. I'm trying to find a cheap set of wheels to mount up.

Anyone know of a good place to find the fog light inserts for the WRX cheaper than $320 bucks that subaru quoted me?
