    Hi all

Signed up for the forum the other day and I figured I'd say hi.

Proud owner of 2012 world rally blue wrx. Had an 06 sti before that but it got smashed when the dealership took it for a spin. Anyway love the new car my only issue being that 2nd gear is a bit grindy especially in cold Canadian winters.. oh and the stupid center console won't stay shut. Easy trade off though.. I get lots of looks with this car and there's no better sound than the exhaust when you first start the car.

    Cheers,
    Darren

I took the car in for something.... I can't remember for what now but it was more than just an oil change otherwise I would have done it myself. I waited in the dealership for it to be finished and the mechanic took it for a quick spin.. apparently that's standard procedure for any maintenance done. Mechanic told me he was stopped at a stop sign and buddy driving dodge ram wasn't paying attention and smashed into the rear.

Ah, your first post suggested the dealer had abused the car. Glad that wasn't the case, but bummer nonetheless. Enjoy the new car and welcome to the club!
