    New Subie owner

    Whats up everyone,

Just bought a 13' wrx sedan. In love already.
I live in WV, im sure this subie will have no problem handling the winters here. Looking forward to learning from you vets.

    One (dumb) question,
Im already past the "break in" phase. Id like to go stage 1. AP and intake. Any suggestions on brands or steps, or even if im doing the right thing?

    Welcome

If you plan on going stage one you would need to follow the map notes and only use the brands supported by cobb (for intakes you can use OEM, Cobb, or AEM)

    Welcome to Club.

I like Perrin but if it were me, my money would be better spent elsewhere to maximize performance return on investment at this stage of the game. Custom tune, down pipe, tires, suspension bits are where I would look to spend if it were me.

    Lets GOOOOOOO Mountaineers!!!!

Also a new WRX owner and a graduate of WVU. I love West Virginia, and your WRX will love it too. The car is made to handle the the roads there.

I'd say it's made to handle the roads anywhere.

I'm just north of Philly. My wife is from Wierton so we make our way back there and Morgantown at least 2 times a year.

If you go perrin then get the cobb AP from perrin and use their maps. It's a fine intake. You get access to both cobb and perrin maps if you buy from perrin (but you don't get the perrin maps if you buy from cobb). Perrin has good customer service and will do map revisions for you if you send them data logs.
