    Making the switch!

Coming from a 2013 VW GLI stage 2
I'm leasing my wrx, base model but with fogs in pearl blue.

What should I expect? I love the look and things I hear about the car so far!

I don't wanna void any warranties but I'd like to get a nameless muffler delete and probably stage 1 tune, would I be fine with these?

Thanks and I'm glad to be on here

State 1 is going to cause you some warranty issues.

So you're coming from a 2013? Don't keep cars very long?

welcome! What should you expect..? Did you not test drive the car? I guarantee it will put a bigger smile on your face around the turns than the VW :P

Check with your dealer before modding. Catback/axleback/nameless muffler delete should be alright but the Stage 1 tune will mess with your warranty. There is some statement like "warranties dont get voided by modding, your claims will just be denied for some mods." <other members correct me if thats not correct- i forget the real words lol.

I'm paying like 60$ more a month for the wrx because I'm getting rid of my VW, I don't like it.. Especially for the price

Why are you leasing a car you want to modify? I'm sure that will violate a fair amount of the agreement.

    The tune isn't a must. If I can't I won't.

Nameless could be, the car sounds awesome as is

Clearly you've yet to deal with SOA.

They'll void you if you wash your car wrong.

    Truf.

Does depend on the case though. If you have a leased vehicle, best to mod as little as possible. Anything requiring tuning probably isn't a good idea.
