Thumbs up Newbie Here! 2011 WRX

Hey Everyone! Names Iain and im from New York. Im 17 and im new to the tuner/Subaru world. Went from an 89 foxbody mustang to a 2011 WRX. Im just in love with the Sedan style of the 11s! Currently i only have a COBB intake, Invidia Exhaust and Invidia downpipe on my car right now but im hoping to have a new turbo in by August! Feel free to message me or add me! i would love to meet new people and i may need some help on some things!

After reading this i understand some of you may be like "oh its another punk 17 year old with mommy and daddys money who thinks hes all that." That's not true. I work very hard for my things just like all of you do. Im a very respectful 17 year old that if respect is given, respect shall be received. Don't believe me? Than don't bother me its as simple as that!

    Welcome!

Haha, I love the dichotomy of the statements about respect, and the pic "louder than your mom last night."

    How is your car tuned?

Had you done any work to the fox body?

I just thought it was a funny juxtaposition, let's not get down on the guy after one post.

That louder than your mom sticker completely ruins your car and I doubt you'll get respect with a corny bumper sticker like that on your rear.

Don't listen to the old farts. You are 17 and enjoy being 17 for as long as you can. It's hard at that age to know you are so much better than everyone else in the world . Wait a second, that was me 35 years ago

Getting on the boards and learning from all the experienced owners will help you along your WRX journey. We are all here because of this car.

Unless they have good advice to give you, which they will, often!
You've come to the right place and I for one love a good mom joke.

Got a good laugh out of the sticker. Welcome to the forums, dont let anyone get you down about your car especially when it comes to aesthetics. If you like a sticker/decal throw it on there, make it YOUR car. When it comes to mechanical advice constructive criticism can go a long way so it never hurts to listen to some of the people on here. Any time I made a post asking for help and opinions, I got that and more.

Where are you located in New York? Im in the Jamaica Queens area.

Car isn't tuned yet but hasn't moved since I put the downpipe and intake on it . Waiting for this tuner to get back from vacation but I might go to someone else instead. Well I sold my fox before I got the WRX. It had GT Swirl Heads, BBK intake, Sparks and Wires, 373 gears, BBK ELH and a FlowMaster exhaust. Nice car but I needed something I could drive all year round especially for college!

Nice car man, welcome! Did you get the catted or catless downpipe? The catted DP will be my next purchase.
