after market turbo stock blow off valve??

So I just bought a 02 wrx and I think it has an after market turbo and I wanted to install the boost gauge but I heard with an after market turbo and a stock blow off valve it might cause issues with the Gage readings is that true?

Unless it's leaking, it won't cause an issue. What turbo? Who's doing the tuning?

Well I'm new to cars so I couldn't tell you much but so far I know it has an after market exhaust and the tuning set to stock the dealership I bought it from has all there cars tuned by a company called pre and I have to bring my car by so they can tell me the details on what parts I have.

PRE is a good thing at least...find out ASAP what is done to it. If it is in fact tuned by PRE, they should know what they are talking about.

Doesn't make any sense why they wouldn't tell you about your car if you own it...
