    Congrats and welcome!

Now every time you walk out of your house/apartment/domicile you can be all like, "Subaru!...that's mine!"

Yep, I do that! I also stop and stare at it from the patio doors.
Spent yesterday cleaning it - and driving :-)

Someone once said "If you don't turn around and look at your car as your walking away you've bought the wrong car". I fully agree!

Yep! Well you already write better than a lot of people I know, keep up the good work! (If you think texting is killing the English language, you should see what it's doing to French.)

Thank you both! And I definitely do that.
Sittin' at the kitchen table right now, having a coffee, lookin' at the Shoopster. My new morning routine.

First job will be the up-pipe this weekend - lucky me my bf's a mechanic and he's having fun with it. (And now he wants one too.)
I've been reading up on it in the forum and apparently if it busts it can destroy my turbo (just like he said...) so that's the priority, waiting on the part (flex! just in case).
When we (he) open(s) it up, we'll know more.

The muffler is definitely not stock (lol) 3" I think. And there seems to be fiberglass stuffed in it, to dampen the sound I guess? That's gotta go.
Thinking of replacing the catback. I'm concerned about getting something new that might be louder or worse, sound like a gazoo (or a Honda).
Right now it has a low rumble - it purrs :-) I'd like that to stay that way, suggestions welcome.

There's a p-flow, concerned about water aspiration though, we might put the original part back on.
I don't plan to go swimming with it though. But then again one never does...

    It came with 17" DAI.

I'd like to get a real front grill with a Subaru logo, right now it's got some kind of hardware-store-fence deal.
I don't know too much about its history; the seller bought it at auction, it's a WYSIWYG but I got a great price, y'all'd fall off yer chairs.
The interior is in great shape too, and it's got 3 cute gauges (oil-water-boost, pale blue neon/glow) on the driver's side.

It will say "Shoopster" on it somewhere, but I can't decide between windshield-top or front license-plate.

And, last but definitely not least, my bf bought me these amazing new break-discs - he loves me!
he's going to install those this weekend too, it's his Shoopster-warming gift
which is hilarious because every gift occasion (bdays, xmas) he never knows what to get me, it's always a crisis. That problem is now resolved
