Will it be possible to find one for that price, yes. Are you likely to want to buy an 09+ that is that cheap, no.

My suggestion is as I said before. Try to find a nice 02-07 Wagon with lower mileage and a good service history. Otherwise you will need to bring a higher budget to the table.
Yea I realized that.. I can push my budget up a bit.. I was just being a cheap ass

Lol okay then. For a nice 09 you're looking at $18-$19k

Welcome! Biggest thing is: make sure it is stock and always was. If you know anyone who knows wrx's, bring them along to look at any potential purchase. Otherwise, you can post links to ads here, or take photos yourself, and often the forum members can notice tell tale signs that a car is or was modded.

I've bought nodded cars in the past. That's why its in the past
Good looking out though, never thought to post pics of potentials here!

The one 04 I was looking at had the wheels already on it which makes me want to stay away. And it was just older with a lot of miles on her.

I am however starting to wonder how much a used STI would be if Ia used WRX is going to be in 18 to19 thousand range..I might as well jump on an STI at that price right

You would have to go 04-05 STi at that price. Honestly I'd say its worth a shot. I love a good Blobeye STi
