Been working at a Subaru Dealership for 3 years, finally bought my first WRX

I've worked at a Subaru dealership for the past 3 years in VA. Recently traded was a 2011 White 5-door premium and I couldn't resist. Thank you to everyone on this forum because I just finished my stage 1 open source tuning and I couldn't have done it without this site. Anyway, I noticed another guy on here answering questions from a dealership, I'd be more than happy to do the same if anyone has questions.

First of all congrats!! Second of all I was wondering if you have heard anything about the 2014s yet? Are 2013s going to be price dropped? Rebates finally going to be offered? Are ordering/finding 2013s going to be more difficult to come by the closer and closer the 2014s release? When they are close are subaru dealerships going to give greater incentives to move the 2013s off the lot to bring in the new 2014s?

    Thanks!

As far as the 2014 WRX, I haven't heard much more than most of the posters on this forum. Word has it that it will be going back to a 2.0L based off of the BRZ engine and should land somewhere around 275 hp.

If you're looking to purchase a 2013 now is just as good of a time as it will be. Subaru is pretty famous for not getting too carried away with incentives so I wouldn't hold your breath. Another poster by the name of rexxx0486 is a dealer from NJ and he's offering about the best deal you'll find. I have a dealer friend in DC and he's selling the WRX/STI's for $1,000 OVER invoice as fast as he can get them. Subaru has decreased it's WRX/STI production numbers over the years and it's actually fairly difficult to find the exact car you want on a lot without special ordering it. With that being said, when the 2014's do hit I doubt any dealers will have many 2013's that they'll be needing to dump for a cheap price. IMHO, go get one right now if you're ready.
