Does it make sense to get leakdown/compression test?

I have 2012 STI hatch w/ 11,000 miles and will be going to Stage2 very soon. I was thinking of getting a leak down/compression test before blowing my warranty, this way it be covered if there was an issue.
Am I being paranoid or do you think it makes sense? Thanks!!

It's probably a $200 bill for compression/leakdown tests. If you wouldn't miss that for peace of mind, I would say go for it. Have them replace the plugs while they do it.

They wanted to $250.00 at the dealer, just for the compression test. Do you know a shop located in Central Jersey or do you think I could post here to see if someone from the forum might want to do it on the side. Thanks.

They said that they don't do leak down tests and that if there was a problem it should show up in compression test. If something showed in compression test then they recommend ld test.

Do you agree with this statement?
