    Talking 2013 WRX WR Blue

Hi, I'm new to this forum and i just bought a 2013 wrx WR blue hatch today. It came with the STP Catback exhaust and short throw shifter. So far i love this car its my second car but my first manual. I was wondering if getting a cobb ram intake with the access port be worth the money? I'll post pictures soon.
    Thank You

Yes, the cobb intake and an AP are a great first mod. Well worth the money!

I'd recommend a downpipe and a tune (AP) rather than an intake and a tune. Power gains will be far more if that's what you're looking for.

would a 3 or 2.5 inch downpipe have a problem merging with the STP catback?

I would do a 3in downpipe and then you can get adapters to connect to the 2.5 in catback

i think the intake and ap are well worth it. depends what you want to do with the car though. some people feel that all the sucking and wooshing noises of an intake get old. but i personally love the sound of an open element intake on a turbo car. and contrary to what a lot of old timers on this forum will tell you. there is a little bit of power to be had with an intake vs the stock box

I'd say do both if you can and then you can still run OTS maps. The whooshing sound is awesome! But so are the performance gains per dollar for a DP.
