So I ordered my 2013 4 door CBS 4 weeks ago. Well, I test drove a SWP in their lot which is not sold and is ready if I want it. I do like the SWP and immediate gratification, but I also like the black (first choice obviously since I ordered it) in the WRX. What do I do????

If I were you I'd not buy a black car. Especially a black car that has Subaru paint. Go with the SWP.

If you do buy black just make sure and maintain the exterior through good waxing on a regular basis (not crappy do it in ten minutes wax, but real buffing/waxing).
Good luck with your decision!
you know what they say, white is right!
As a owner of a black car with Subaru paint I would advise you to not buy a black car with Subaru paint.
Thanks for the info guys. I didn't realize that there were so many things wrong with the black Subaru paint. What is it that makes it so bad? Is there anything to neutralize it? Opti-coat?
Opti-coat would be the best solution. Subaru paint is just pretty cheap and a little hard to correct if something goes wrong (swirl marks, scratches, etc.)
Black Subaru paint is damn near impossible to keep error free. Opti-coat may not help, and is an absolute bear to apply without marring the finish. Check out this post by a great detailer, Richard Lin, just yesterday
Black Subaru paint is no crappier than all Subaru paint. But just like all black cars it shows swirls and dirt more than other colors. Gotta keep up on keeping waxed and cleaned, but when it is clean it looks damn sexy.
