Love Hawkeye wagons! We don't get to see many so please please let your first mod be a good camera

On my car my first upgrade was new rotors and brake pads. Made a huge difference. I will also be doing some stainless steel lines eventually. After that I got better tires.

Now to get a better idea of what might be best for you we need some background. What did you buy the car for, are there any mods done already and what are your expectations for the car in general?

    62000 miles on it
Not quite sure what I want to do with it
    Suggestions please?

Personally I would make sure all the routine maintenance is done first. At 62k you're due for a full service if it wasn't done already. This includes oil change, trans and dif flush and fill, radiator flush and fill and checking all the other fluids (brake, clutch master cylinder, power steering). If all that is good then I would go for a brake upgrade (pads, rotors, stainless steel lines, master cylinder brace and good fluid) or tires for summer driving. I wouldn't look at stage 2 (down pipe, turbo back exhaust and a tune) until that was done. Again this is what I would do.

Give us some background on yourself and it might help narrow our suggestions down.

You're asking about modifications on a car you "just got". My advice is to make sure all maintenance is done (like mentioned), and then drive the car for a while. Figure out where you feel the car is lacking, as that will allow us to steer you in the right direction in terms of where to modify.
