From GTI to 2013 WRX Owner Intro

Recently purchased a 2013 WRX Limited sedan. I couldn't be happier with the car, coming from a MKVI GTI the WRX has a special character that the GTI just couldn't match. The only dislikes I have are the shift nob, the transmission itself is not as bad as people make it out to be; or it might just be me, but it's easier to drive the Rex smoothly than the GTI was. I'm still in the break-in process, is it normal to only get about 200 miles on the first tank; mostly city miles? Also how reliable are these cars with a stage I tune?

I'll add pictures to this thread later as it's night time over here !

I know in the cold I'm only getting 290-310 out of a tank. Warmer weather ill get an extra 20-30 miles. These cars are not known for their city economy :P

    Edit: That's 70% highway and 30% city.

That might be why my mileage is so low, it's been in the low 20's to 35 F at the warmest since I've had the car. Hopefully it gets a little better when the weather get's warmer...thankfully I knew it wasn't a Prius

    All depends on driving style.

OP you said mostly city, I too drive mostly city and usually get 200-240 out of a tank. As others mentioned the more highway you do you'll get up to that 300 a tank mark.

I got 240 out of my first tank, I don't think that's too bad. I haven't shifted past 3,300 RPM's to date, hopefully my mileage increases after I break the engine in a little bit. Click image for larger version.
