    Just introducing myself...purchased my first Subaru 10 months ago...2012 WRX Hatch. Ordered the car directly through the dealer. Nothing fancy...only added fog lights, all weather mats and door trim (I know many hate the look but I really didn't want any unnecessary dents in my doors). After a few months bought a Cobb Accessport...running the 91 octane OTS map and appreciated the tune over the factory tune. I don't track the car or anything. Was 37 when I bought it and it was my first new car. I'm enjoying the car quite a bit but I can see how you can get caught in modifying for more HP. When I first got the car it felt like so much power! Now it feels...regular to me - fun, but not shocking anymore. Still, I will likely leave it as is.

    Anyway, that's me. I've poked around ClubWRX for a while now and appreciated what appears to be a community that is respectful and helpful...not always what I've found with another Impreza forum...

    Welcome to the forum.

    I installed body side moldings too. I don't think they look that bad. I actually like how they designed it so it doesn't look like a block of plastic.

    I agree. I actually think they look nice..they are streamlined and work well with the lines of the car! And they saved me the first week I owned it! Since then I try to park away from other cars if I can, but came out of work one day and the molding was tagged by another person's door. Left a little mark on the molding but it certainly would have been a ding in the door for sure!
