    Question Clutch shudder....

I've just had a used engine fitted( 33.000 miles) also a new clutch, been driving it a day or so and no problem but today I noticed that while stationary and you lift the clutch pedal in gear with no rev's it shudders like mad. Forward and reverse. It's not really noticeable if your pulling away normally cos you lift the rev's up and it cures the issue. Any ideas on what this could be???? Oh the car is my WRX 03 Thanks for any help .......

Ummm...if you lift up the clutch without giving it gas...it's gonna shudder. Lift up all the way, it's going to stall.

    Maybe I'm really confused here...

Mikie... He probably is missing the stall. Used to stall without the shudder. New clutch actually works...
You can't have everything - where would you put it?

If you lift the clutch just to the bite in any car the car will start to move slowly, the rev' will drop but the car will move.in mine now with the new clutch it shudders while doing this. Sorry for the confusion....
