    diy rear plastic mod

today i did the rear bumper plastic diffuser mod or whatever you guys wanna call it. it came out pretty good and took me 1-2hrs to do and was fairly simple. i used 60, 80, and 120 gritt sand paper on a belt sander. your also gonna need a razor blade to clean up the little plastic left on the diamonds. also be careful not to hold it on the sander for to long because it melts the plastic from the friction heat and can really ruin your day :/

also if you notice when your sanding you'll sand the tips of the clips that hold it in place. this is fine as long as you do not sand the part that actually hold it in the bumper. alot of people also tape off their bumper and paint whats behind the plastic black if you have a lighter color car.
