Question. I have so far noticed that about every SPT part that you can get for the WRX someone says it "sucks" or is "unreliable" or not worth the money. So does this mean the same for the car itself? I mean it seems people just get a WRX for the frame, engine and AWD and think the rest sucks and they make to their own style. Most modified car I have ever seen is the WRX.

I used SPT parts and had them installed by a dealer friend so I can maintain full warranty. I am happy with my upgrades.

Not that they suck...they just don't do anything, especially for the price.

You're better off finding other aftermarket stuff that is better, and cheaper.

Plus...SPT doesn't build the car...Fuji Heavy Industries does.

So different company builds the car then does the performance parts?

Ugh! I love pics of WRXs/STIs in snow! How did you like the Genesis and SI? I test drove the 09/10 SI like 5 times, I could just never get what I wanted for my trade

The genesis coupe was nice, but I had to get out from the lease. Hyundai's depreciate extremely quick. The Civic SI was nice, but too plain for me after a year. It looked too close to the the base Civic. The CRZ was actually not a bad little car, but I don't like two seater vehicles. Unfortunately, I had to own one to figure that out.

    2012 STi Hatch - A Black Dream...

I am in trouble now... I just purchased a COBB access port for $290. Now the hard part is to restrain myself from installing it immediately! . I just couldn't pass on the deal.

Street King, SI is Civic. And OP, I agree, the SI looks too close to an EX, but god those test drives were fun. Has anyone here driven an S2000? I'm sure you're correct Hyundai depreciate... but that doesn't mean it's right. Harleys hold their value... case in point!

The S2000 was fun! It felt like a go cart. Honestly, I am just a fan of the body style. Drivability was nice, and there are some decent upgrades for that car.
