Installed the red interior illumination kit. It looks subtle and sharp.

Wow, never knew an STI hatchback could look great in black. Also how does the Genesis coupe handle? Any good/bad differences to the STI hatchback or the WRX sedan?

The genesis coupe track was a sweet car. The reason I got rid of it was because it was a lease and I didn't wan to have another large down payment or another lease in the future. The bad thing about it was he fact that Hyundai cars depreciate quickly... I was going to be paying more to keep the car after the lease was up than what it was worth. Fun car though! The STI is better hands down

My family is a Hyundai freak. Lol.

    2009 Azera - Sold in 2011
    2012 Sonata - Mom's car
    2011 Genesis - Sold in 2013
Now my dad is planning on getting the 2014 Equus.
He wants me to get a Veloster with a turbo engine but I highly doubt it would be a car I would like to drive since I'm not a fan of hatchbacks although the WRX/STi looks amazing.

How are you liking the remote start? I fear something will go wrong if I add one and disable the clutch safety switch like - forgetting to leave it out of gear.. What safeties are in place for the issue above?

The safety is ridiculous! I don't know if you saw my post, but I couldn't even activate the darn thing at first. You must do the following in the given order only:

    Put tranny in neutral
    Press and hold brake
    Lift e brake
    Release e brake
    Lift e brake again
    Release foot brake
Turn off ignition and remove key
Get out of car and shut door. Car engine stops.

That is the safety sequence. You then start the car using the remote. Get in, place key in ignition and turn to full on.

The sequence will kill the engine if the key is not turned to on in the ignition. The minute it is placed in gear or the e brake is touched the engine shuts off. The dealer install will be guaranteed. I wouldn't worry about the safety side at all.

I apologize for missing the sequence and all, but greatly appreciate your feedback! Great looking car!

Just picked up my first Subaru however being my DD I couldn't justify the cost of maintenance on the sti and got a deal on my wax. Intro post up next.
