    Break in period

    Hey all, I bought My 2013 WRX back in Nov. It has 1400 miles on it now. Is there a break in period on these if so how many miles you think. I have come onto it a couple times but not hard. Any thoughts would be helpful

    The break in period is 1000 miles.. so you're a little late. In the first 1000 you're supposed to keep it under 4000rpm, only a little boost (~5psi occasionally), engine brake often, and vary rpm (NEVER use cruise control). At 1000 change the oil, then drive it like you stole it.
