I just picked up a 2010 WRX hatchback, figured I'd introduce myself. The car is actually going to be my wife's car, but I'll probably mess with it a bit. Not new to Subies, I owned an 05 Legacy GT and 09 WRX previously.

Car is bone stock, 26k miles. The paint was pretty bad when I got it... looked like it had been washed with brillo pads. I had my detail guy come out and he made it shine again. Only issue now is the speakers are all completely shot.

No big plans to mod it, but might do a few little things. Ordered a short shifter and bushings last night. The first thing my wife said when she drove it is "this doesn't feel that fast", so if she wants faster then maybe I'll get to play with it. Our last two Subarus were stage 2.

Black cars sure are a lot of work... but they look so damn nice when properly maintained!

Welcome. Your wife sounds awesome, by the way.

Thanks for the welcome. Yeah black cars take a lot of work, but living in the desert makes it reasonably easy to keep clean. It just takes keeping the dust off.

And yeah my wife is awesome .

Welcome! I just recently purchased an 05 Sedan WRX, black, and i'm realizing how incredibly hard it is to keep clean.
