Hey all, new member here in Cleveland. Going to be heading to the dealer in a few hours to trade in my 2005 RSX-S on a new DGM WRX Base Sedan. Before the RSX I had a 96 Outback that I loved despite it being an Auto.
Going to miss the RSX as it's been a really great car, but it's time to step up to 4 doors and AWD.
The new car comes with some options, all weather mats, auto-dimming/Homelink mirror, blue footwell illumination and the SPT exhaust. Had I ordered the car I would have probably skipped everything but the mats, but oh well, I'm not complaining. Already ordered a set of Blizzak LM-60's and had them mounted on the stock wheels, when Summer comes I'll look for another set of wheels to mount the stock tires on.
More than a little excited to finally get behind the wheel of a car I've always wanted. Another bonus is that my girlfriend has an '11 Impreza 2.5i Premium, so there will be some part swapping happening down the road (might start off with trading headlights, her black housings on my DGM and my chromes on her Silver Impreza should make both rides look a little nicer). Will most likely upgrade the sways on my car and move the stock WRX sways to her ride (not sure what extras are required since she doesn't have a rear sway). Also plan to go with Koni's and springs at some point, and I'll be using a set of donors so that my stock setup can hopefully be swapped to her ride (again, need to do more research and find out if anything extra will be needed).
Already been doing quite a bit of research around here and NASIOC, but I've definitely got a lot more to learn.
First mods on the new whip will likely be shifter related. Bushings for sure and most likely the Cobb adjustable SS.
