Finally got a WRX!!

Hello all! My name is Jon and i live in Virginia Beach VA and after months of research and test driving i have finally purchased my dream car. 2013 WRB Limited WRX hatch! The moment i drove the car i wanted it and never looked back. I came from a Honda Civic and recently a 3 series BMW so this is a huge difference ha. I have been extremely busy so first time on here since i purchased the car so more pics to come for sure.

I am still researching on different mods to do but any advise or personal experience stories would be great! I am very open to peoples opinions and advise as i am ready to learn everything i can about this car. I'm not really looking to do too much performance wise right now but maybe down road. I would like to get an exhaust and maybe a cool air so any advise on those would be great.

I look forward to being apart of the community! Anyone on here from VB hit me up! Would be sick to meet up with other members at any events around the area.

ALSO....just hit 1k yesterday....it has been fun finally being able to go over 4000 rpms haha!

Yea i am researching on what to do on suspension. I dont really want to spend a bunch of money on coilovers because from what i have read they seem to sacrifice the ride and this is my daily driver. I might end up getting some springs but idk. I seem to take my time with this stuff and really find the best option so i probably wont purchase anything until spring. I also want to get some wheels so that's added to the list

As far as Stage 2....i'm a big noob with all the "stage" lingo so i will know exactly what that means soon ha

Stage 1 is just a tune. Stage 2 is a downpipe and a more better tune.

A lot of people start with swaybars and endlinks as far as suspension goes.

This is probably the first car I've had in recent memory that I've not wanted to mod much on. I just got mine in mid-Oct, and only things I'm thinking of are swaybars and endlinks, and getting a Cobb AP and using the stage 1 tune.

I was in the Hampton area for about 10 years, and still get down that way. I've got a preimum Ice Silver hatch, and I'll keep an eye out for ya when I'm down that way.
