Romp Intro / Wheel Feedback

Hi Everyone,
11 days from now I will be getting my brand new 2013 WRX Limited (White). I’m passionate about passion, so I just enjoy when people are passionate about certain hobbies etc. such as this WRX forum. A little introduction, this will be my first car that I officially purchase. I wish I could get the STi, but I couldn’t do that extra 10g. Also I’m no racer and probably won’t take it to the track. This is my first manual car, I plan on learning soon lol. I will be mad broke once I get it, but I plan on to getting the following upgrades:

- Tint
- Headlight Ting (maybe?) I heard vinyl is pretty cheap and still looks good.
- Wheels (debating between black vs. gold.) budget around 1g. Been looking around and OZ and Enkei look really nice but can be very pricey.
- Mud flaps so I can romp the mountains without damaging paint hopefully
- Snowboard rack

I’ll probably continue to do lots of research before actually getting anything, but some feedback on wheels would be great. Budget is 1g on wheels. Been looking at the ones on tirerack OZ/Enkei but those a bit out of my price range. However If I do get sold on a pair that I just can't resist I would be willing to splurge that extra 500 or w.e

welcome! here in clubwrx we are passionate about the passion with our wrx's, like you, so we can all passionately show our passion together! search around for first mod threads, window tint is good and im happy with my levels 20-15%, headlight tint-bad idea, wheels not sure of your color of car both black and gold is nice, like my man Wiz K i prefer black and yellow^2, mudflaps are good-look into Rally Armour and Flapatax mudflaps, and i hear you can go to Rack City for racks where they have all the nice chicks that sell Yakima racks which are popular choices among our passionate members with passionate hobbies. White and gold are a killer combo. I would recommend the Sparco Assetto Gara wheels. Cheap, made by O.Z, look good, good quality, did I mention cheap? They're not as light or hardcore as the true O.Z and Enkei and Volks, but if you're happy with just upgraded looks, I like these. Not that heavy either, lighter than stock at around 20 lbs for 18's. Gold 18x8 with +45 offset would be my recommendation for sure.

Try and find some used wheels in good condition. Thats always a solid way to go to get what you want and keep the cost down

Is there a reason why I should avoid tint lights?
I mean the smoked lights or w.e. loook kinda neat nah?

I'm partial to RPF01s in SBC finish. Tinting your tails isn't that bad. If you're getting a sedan, I have everything tinted but the reverse and turn signal portion done with 35% tint and they're still plenty bright at night.

the OP is asking about headlight tinting, not tail.

OP, i would suggest painting your headlights if you do not like the chrome-look:
