    New to Subaru

I just wanted to introduce myself. I'm new to this forum, but not to forums in general. I traded in a 2010 Camaro SS for my 2013 WRX. I didn't lose much when it comes to speed with this car. Plus, I can actually see out the back of this, lol. The scooby is more fun to drive IMO, and I have 4 doors now. I wish I would have skipped the Camaro and just bought a WRX in the first place.

Edit: Oh yeah...pics. Sorry they are so dark.

The Camaro SS is slow anyway. It looks like a pig and is just as slow.

LOL...well I wouldn't say the SS is slow. It's plenty fast to be honest. But I felt small in it, and the visibility from inside is, well, terrible. But it definitely isn't slow. And the looks are subjective. I won't miss it, but I also don't hate it. The main reason for the change for me was winter driving. I didn't want to have a payment on a car that was gonna sit in my garage for 5 months.

Good purchase. Welcome to the club.

Personally, thank god you got rid of the Camaro, I hate those stupid things. There's something about it I just can't come to terms with..... or maybe its everything about it. But to each his own!

Hahaha, well I'm not saying there aren't faster cars. And the last thing I want to do is stick up for the Camaro. But there's a hell of a lot more out there that are slower. BTW...what is your wife's car?

I was on the fence for a Camaro and so glad I got the WRX instead. Loving every minute of it.

I like the practicality and high level of performance that the AWD, 4 door WRX provides. I live in Ohio and have owned many Mustang GTs. You must have a second car to get around in while your garage queen sits out the winter. If I lived in a warm climate, I most likely would have a 5.0. I've always loved a small block V8. Having said that, I don't feel like I'm giving up anything with my WRX. Enjoy your new car. They are fun AND practical.
