"The Eagle Has Landed ..."

The Subaru salesman called me yesterday, and all he said was that ... "The Eagle Has Landed."

I ordered my 2013 DGM Hatch on Nov. 10th. The guys at the dealership were shocked that it came in so quickly. They are definitely not happy about the delays that some of the other customers have experienced.

I'd like to say a couple of things about this forum. I appreciate the feedback I have gotten from some of the people here ... I'm sure there's a parade of noob questions that come up over and over again over the years. I appreciate the pictures of other's cars and the detailed info on various customizations, experiences with certain features and add-ons.

As soon as I saw the car, I knew I was glad it did not have the fog lights. (They weren't an option at the time of order) on a standard model at the time I ordered it. I really like the lines of the bumper, and the flow of the areo vent in that space. And I can definitely see myself adding some PIAA or Hella driving lights on the lower lip of the bumper. I've got Hella horns ready to go in, a kicker under-seat sub, and I plan on customizing the side badge at some point as well.

Lastly, thanks for keeping this a politics free forum ... I fumbled that on one post, but I won't repeat it.

Here's the car before I even sat in the seat, and I will post some better pics when I can get some DSLR time with the new ride.

I hope all of you that have orders in, get your rides way ahead of schedule like I did ... feeling very lucky.
