    Finally got the '13 PBP hatchback

    After 7 weeks of waiting for my order I finally got the car last Saturday! I actually look forward to my commute now and I'm just loving it. 550 on the OD right now, but here's a pick from when I picked it up at the dealership.

    yeah the commute/winter salt/etc is already showing. It's looking pretty dirty lol. But thanks!

    I don't think the meant the dirt. More likely he was talking about the paint. Enjoy it while it is still chip free.

    (Someone at the office also said Subie paint is a bit 'delicate'. Had Jeeps for 20 years and you just can't chip the paint on them)

    Said person is right. Black is said to be the hardest color to to care for thanks to swirl marks.

    Don't know much about chipping paint on jeeps. But my buddy took his wrangler offroading in mud, and afterward while the mud was still wet he wrote stuff on it, and once he washed the car he realized the mud made tiny scratches as his finger was dragging it while he was writing. He now has stupid idiotic words scratched all over his hood
