I'm 6' 3" and have my steering wheel telescoped all the way out and tilted up slightly. My seat is about 3/4 from being all the way back and I fit perfectly - left leg not quite fully extended with the clutch in, wrists resting on top of the wheel, and I still have room to heel-toe.
I'm 6'5" 260# and fit fine in my 09 STi hatch. I'm still experimenting with the sweet spot on the steering adjustment, but there's an excessive amount of head and legroom. I've even sat behind the drivers seat (because I have a tall family and had to test) and there's a lot of space there as well. This is a very roomy car for it's size.
I'm 5'7", and had some issues til I glued wood blocks to the bottoms of my shoes. Problem solved!

I'm 6'2" and haven't had an issue fitting into WRX's. I find this thread to be strange, something must not have been adjusted properly.
But you know what they say: if it doesn't fit, you must acquit.

my dad is 6'5" and fits fine in my car. make sure the wheel is adjusted up, and more importantly, make sure the seat is lowered. start with it lowered all the way down.
