Hey there, as the title suggests I'm new to the forum and from Maryland. Just picked up an 02 wrx a few days ago, though I've wanted one for years...This is the second subie I've owned. Had a 97 Impreza brighton coupe(1.8). But even before that I've driven them for years. I worked with a Veterinarian that traveled throughout the MD/VA/DC area and during my employment I had the pleasure of driving 99,01, and 05 legacy wagons and a 2010 forrester. I will say I was intsantly a fan and hooked for life. My old man was a muscle car guy so growing up I became one too. I've been working on cars for almost 20 years(I'm 29 now) and just love them in general. I have definetely become a subie guy for the last 7 years and the foreseable future. Thanks for giving me the chance to introduce myself, I look forward to browsing the forums and getting some good advice.

I've got an 87 GT with t-tops I'm bringing back to life. Messed up my shoulder in the spring so I haven't been able to finish her. My hopes are spring-summer next year and she'll be up and running

By 87 Gt I meant 87 Mustang GT since I noticed Ghostly's signature. I'll have to dig some up but somewhere I have pics of it sitting in a field in northern VA, pics right after sanding and priming her, and pics of the engine/trans swap. Thats about where I left off...dislocated, seperated, and torn shoulder lol. It's funnier now than it was when it happened.

Ouch! I've been doing very little the last 2 weeks and change just due to some rotator cuff tendonitis, it's amazing how much you need your shoulder for absolutely everything, and how little you realize it until it isn't working right.
