    Yeah, yeah, it's a 2.5i

What's up everyone? My name's Ryan, I've been on NASIOC, IWSTI, and RS25.com, and have seen a few links to Club WRX so I thought I would join here as well. Mainly here to see what everyone else is doing and learn a little. My overall plan for my 2.5i is to keep it as a daily driver until the engine completely gives out then swap in a turbo motor and use it as a weekend warrior. Until then, I'll do a few mods here and there but basically it'll stay a conservative daily.

I most recently got a teaching job at Lake Preston School District in Lake Preston, SD. First big boy job and I can't say enough about how much I'm enjoying it so far. Despite being overworked and underpaid, I love teaching. Working with young individuals and seeing them progress through their education is one of the most rewarding experiences ever.

Needless to say, seeing how I have an actual job now there will be more money for mods just not any time to put them on.

    Mod List (short and sweet):
    Interior
    Alpine CDA-9851
    OEM STi floor mats
    OEM center armrest extension
    DIY STi limited dash trim
    HVAC LED red bulbs
WC Lathe Works copolymer piston knob (red shift pattern)

    Exterior
JNA V-limited replica lip (DIY install with heady-duty hardware)
    Rally Armor mud flaps
    OEM fogs
    20% tint all around

    Brakes
    TiC Master Cylinder Brace

    Drivetrain
    Kartboy SS
    Kartboy front shifter bushing
    Kartboy rear shifter bushing
    Kartboy rear subframe bushings
    TiC rear differential outrigger bushings

    Suspension
02-03 OEM WRX struts (waiting to be installed)
02-03 Progress springs (waiting to be installed)
    SPT ladder brace
    Whiteline 24mm RSB
    Kartboy RSB endlinks

    Wheels
16x6.5 OEM 2.5i wheels (Continental Extreme Contact DWS all-seasons)

    Thanks for looking.

To be honest, I have no idea in the world what TTIWWOP means. Sorry to disappoint.

Not sure why I didn't put any pics up in my first post, oops.

Right after I got it tinted.

Drove home during a rainy night, saw this guy jumping across the interstate, found him later.

Woke up to my car covered in ice, seriously contemplated wrapping my car after this. Decided against it.

Never heard of the acronym but I have heard people say this thread is useless without pics. I'm going to have to start saying titty-wop more often now.

Haven't updated this in a while. Here are some of the most recent things I've done.

Made an order the other day, splurged on some driveline products from MachV.

Pitch stop mount, cross member bushings, shift linkage bushings, outrigger bushings, differential mount bushings, and botox bolts.

Installed the pitch stop mount first. Didn't feel like lying on my back while a bunch of snow melted off the car.

So far, a definite increase in NVH, shifts feel a little more consistent and I'm definitely more confident while shifting.

Also, I just got done installing the Kartboy outrigger differential bushings, the Turn in Concepts crossmember bushings, and some Lamin-X fog light protective film in yellow. I wish I would have known the film didn't completely cover the fogs, it would be nice if instead of a circle it was just a square and covered the whole fog, oh well. I cannot really notice it unless I look really close.

The outrigger differential bushings made the biggest difference. I can really feel what the rear end is doing now. It's tightened up a little, I launched on a gravel road and spun the tires easier than usual. I really want to install the rear differential mount bushings and the Kartboy subframe lockdown bolts now. That'll be another day.

The subframe bushings tightened up the shifts a little more, but just noticeably different. The shift linkage bushings are going to be the final piece to that puzzle, along with a transmission mount some time down the road.

I am definitely getting spring fever around here considering we still have snow. Would be a lot easier to install some of this stuff if it wasn't below freezing temperatures in my garage.
