Today is Just not My Day

So I wake up today to go to work and to my surprise I find a fist sized dent in my rear passenger side bumper Now I live in an apartment complex so you'd think it wuold be easy to find who did it, apparently not. So now Im on the hunt to find a way to repair it without damaging the paint considering its a plastic bumper. Any suggestions on how to go about doing this?

Take the bumper off and you'll have to pop it out from the inside. There may be some creasing though.

I read somewhere that boiling water and a heat gun may work, Im just worried about spidering the paint

Boiling water just doesn't sound like a good idea to me...

agreed^ try popping it out from inside or one of the suction cup pullers u can get from parts store. worth a shot

Hahaha this made my day a litttle brighter, sadly im a perfectionist so the slightest imperfection bothers me xD

truth is, i it's a daily driver, and doesn't get garaged all the time, it's eventually going to get dings. it's part of sharing the road and parking lots with inconsiderate people.

i have some bad ones myself, and will eventually get them fixed, but for now, it is what it is

but its a beautiful 2013 white wrx lol, try to fix it if not getnew bumper through ins or something. depending how bad it is. i like perfection, even though my cars old and scratched im still putting money into it by getting a new trunk and bumpers just because i want it to look cleaner.

If you're truly worried and must have perfection, take it to a reputable body shop. They know what they're doing

Yeah that much I know, especially a person like me that enjoys rallyx and taking to some gravel roads, its bound to happen, but seeing that huge of a dent pains me :/

Truth...I'd repair it. Dings are one thing, but a big ass dent where someone obviously backed into you is a different story.

Yeah thats what bugs me the most, looking at my and seeing that dent makes me die a little inside
