Just thought I would post after moving out to Colorado about a year ago. I've had my 2009 DGM WRX Premium Hatch for a little over two years now but haven't been really active here for two reasons:
- Looking through these forums makes me want to spend alot of money on my car but I have priorities unfortunately (credit debt, then saving for a down payment on a house)
- The more I look through everything the more I'm tempted to fix a few things on my car and trade it in for a 2011/12 STI base. This would be a terrible idea financially though right now...
My goal right now is to put together a list of problems to fix before I start tinkering with everything (front left spring not seated correctly, need new fender liners, cracked windshield). After that my plan is to start with really minor upgrades (short shifter & bushings, winter tires/wheels, etc.) and cosmetic upgrades (20/25% tints, better stance to lessen wheel gap, tail light overlays).
Anyways, just thought I would re-introduce myself since I haven't been very active here since buying the car. Hoping to meet some fellow clubWRX people in Colorado!
