Hey everyone,
So I have a quick question regard TP tunes. From my understanding he sends you a base map and then adjusts based on 3rd gear pulls.
My question is, how many pulls/logs on average did it take to get the map situated for your car?
Thanks in response too all who respond!

So you saw the improvement and its pretty safe? Sounds great! Thanks for the quick reply!
I suggest purchasing a WBO2 sensor before doing this... you'll get much better results.

Yes, WBO2 = Wideband O2 sensor. You're not replacing anything. You'll be adding a WBO2 sensor, after the turbo hotside and before the rear CatCon. There are really only two acceptable options: AEM UEGO or Innovate LC-1. Though, admittedly, you're better off replacing the downpipe at that point.

Not saying zax is wrong, but just from another POV...I dont have a WB02 and went with stage1 from TP. I think he did 2 revisions to the map and everything is running great.

You then drive around for a little bit to make sure everything is warmed up fully. You then find an empty stretch of flat road and, in 3rd gear, go from 2k-2.5k rpm, click the rear defroster button(turns on the logger) to redline, defroster button again(shuts off and saves). Do that a few times. Make sure there is no knock(there are two types, they list in the instructions). Also, its good to do a learning view(kinda like a picture of your ecu), I forget exactly where you can find that program.
Rear the tutorials on ecuflash and romraider before hand so you know what you're doing. Make sure you save your stock tune in a safe place. Make sure your battery will not die on either your car or laptop while flashing...if that happens you are f***ed.
Anything else I forgot boys?

You used to have to select an option in the logger to be able to toggle with the defrost.
Stop after your first log and look at it to make sure you are getting data.
He will send info on what/how to log, but here is a good background read:

i didnt have to, maybe its an older version. I checked to see if it was receiving by checking off the RPMs monitor and just revved a bit.
