    Welcome.

Older cars (02-07) seem to have more character than 08+. 09+ have the most power. Drive as many as you can. Choose which one suits you best.

Welcome. I would buy the newest, lowest mileage wrx you can afford.

Welcome! RSX-S to WRX is an excellent jump, no matter what year you get. Therefore, I agree with Dez, just try to find one that is not modified with the lowest miles you can get.

I debated on a used hawkeye STI or a new wrx and eventually chose to go with a new wrx bc they are about the same price. I do believe either way is a good choice, it really just comes down to personal preference.

Personally I favor the blobeyes (04-05) and the bugeyes (01-03 I think?)
If you're able to buy a newer one though (09+) then freaking do it. They're also very nice
