Hello! I recently bought an '07 WRX wagon, 'Rally Blue'.
I've been doing a lot reading on making modifications, but I'm entirely new to all of this and I sometimes feel like I'm learning a whole new language
What I would like to do is make the car 'breathe' better to give it some more power and change the tone of the exhaust, and eventually replace these stock rims. I look forward to learning a lot on these forums, and you all seem like a nice, clever lot in my lurking of WRX/Subaru forums, so I am happy to be here!

ARGHH! So many new Hawkeye wagon owners lately. Lucky....
Welcome!
Welcome!
What you end up doing really just depends on what you want out of the car. To me it sounds like you would benefit most from a Stage 2 set-up. "stage 2" consists of a new down pipe and a tune. For the sound you would be fine with just a cat back exhaust.

Thanks everyone. First I've heard of a Subaru Hawkeye, lol!
michaelwfox, thanks for that link, that's definitely a solid starting point for me. I've done a bit of snooping around on youtube and came across this vid:
2003 WRX COBB exhaust - YouTube
That's pretty much the type of sound I'm looking for, so I think I would just switch the Invidia downpipe with the Cobb one, or do they have similar tones? I definitely want to avoid something too loud and raspy. But that's very helpful. Stage 2 it is.
In the link I sent you can get either. That package lets you pick and chose
If you have any questions you can PM Adam with Kronos Performance on here.
Welcome- and congrats on the new ride.
