new to the site, looking at getting my first wrx!

an ad on here was placed for a black 04 wrx, 114k miles, all stock, 9400. i'm assuming it's a good deal. i'll bite on it in the next few weeks

my name is drew, i'm looking at keeping reliability moreso than making it fast, when the motor eventually dies i'll probably start making it go fast. i had one question i can't seem to find the answer for. and that's.. what are the differences between the 04 and the 07? other than than the front? is the rear different at all? it seems like the trunk lid is a little bit bigger on the 07 sedans than on the 04 sedans.

The 07 has a larger more powerful motor and numerous other changes.

I know that, cosmetically though, are the rear parts any different? Taillights, trunk lid, etc.

Tailights are the same shape but 04 are mostly red with a little white. 07 is half chrome half red

07 trunks have a permanent Subaru oval badge. the 04 doesnt. Trunks are the exact same size.
