    Power Output: Stage1 ACN91 MTv300 +8.1% HP / +9.8% lb-ft over stock.
    Power Output: Stage2 ACN91 MTv300 +9.0% HP / +16.5% lb-ft over stock

    The HP gain will not be that impressive but the torque... that puts you at close to 280 TQ compared to the stock 245... you will notice it

    Also how much louder is catless from catted. BTW I am keeping the exhaust stock. I like that its a little sleeperish!

    i went stage 1 about a month ago and the power was much, much smoother than stock. this was with the cobb ots map. i just went stage 2 with an invidia catted downpipe. i am really happy with the difference.

    It is quite a bit louder. I ran catless for two days and decided it wasnt for me. If your keeping stock exhaust you wont notice it too much.

    I had Invidia's race pipe which is close to a straight pipe and very loud to begin with when I had the catless DP.

    By smoother, you mean a more linear delivery throughout the band? As of right now I got basically nothing until 3k rpm then boom mad boost!

    I know it will never be like my 335 with its torque curve kicking in at 1300 and staying pretty much flat up to 4800 but smoother would be epic!

    Also would you say the difference between stage 1 and stage 2 is analogous to the difference between stock and stage 1?

    Went stage1 very happy with it once got torqued performance tuned. Not a good idea If you live in CA to go stage 2 IMO. The dealer will automatically know you're tuned, second if you get caught with a downpipe from a cop in CA from my understanding it's a $1200 fine. I'll personally stick with stage 1. I simply unflash when I bring into dealer, also not worried/paranoid about huge fine. I've been pulled over here too many times back in the day with my civic hatchback by cops that had nothing better to do then pull me over for no reason.

    Thanks for your reply. Although I never heard anyone getting cited for a DP especially if it is catted.

    Catless is fun...you're more likely to shoot flames

    Cali, you will have to have catted to even think about passing any sort of emissions though from what I understand.

    Either way, Stage 1 or Stage 2 will both provide nice improvements over the stock tune. Even if Stage 1 didn't bump power all that much, it certainly smooths out the torque curve to a much more driver friendly shape. You'll enjoy which ever you decide.

    I think I am going to use a Tactrix Cable and TP Stage 1 tune.
