    Cobb Accessport Stage 2 Upgrade

    Hello,
I have a 04 WRX and am looking to buy an COBB AP for a stage 2 tune. I already have a K&N intake and COBB turbo-back exhaust.
After I tune my car to stage 2, are there any other upgrades needed for my car so it runs perfectly?
Answers and help would be appreciated.

    Hi Ish.subi,

To go stage 2 you will need to use a Catted Downpipe for the car to run correctly.

    welcome.

if you havent already, you need to replace your uppipe with a catless one.

did you already install the intake & TBE? if so, you need to drive your car with care. if possible, try to drive it as little as possible until you get your engine management. definitely stay out of boost.

How long have you had the TBE installed? Your lack of research may have done permanent damage to your car.

I thought you had Cobb turboback? Did you mean catback?

Regardless, Zach's question is important, how long have you been running with the exhaust and no tune?

But no up pipe. So should I just do a stage 1 tune or a light stage 2?

Wow. That's a stage 2 setup big guy. You may have done some damage to your car. I would get it tuned or remove the downpipe ASAP. While your at it, get a compression/leakdown test performed.

You need an EBCS, front mount, external wastegate, bigger turbo, blow off valve, bigger injectors, a puppy, and a intake before you should consider engine management.

+1 to puppy... everyone knows a puppy gives a Subaru +36HP
