Dealer called me this morning and told me the car arrived, went down and drove it home this afternoon!!!!! So pumped I finally got a wrx! I got one question tho...why is it hard to shift into reverse?

Congrats! Yeah, I just got mine yesterday, it's a pain to get into reverse. Like peekeesh said though, put it in first, then bring it down to reverse. I have noticed, even after only a day, it's already easier to get into reverse
Huh. I haven't had any problems with reverse. But, after 1300 miles it's still stoopidly stiff to get into first and fifth.
As stated, put the stick in first then down to reverse, or double clutch.
Long term, get a short shifter and bushings![]()

Reverse can be annoying in the WRX, a trick I've always used was to put it in 1st and move forward a tad then try reverse and it goes right in without a problem.
