Well if you have seen my previous post I was looking at an 08 wrx to buy. Since reading the reviews of the 09 I thought it would be a better bet, however I've now heard that they are prone to engine failure is this true??
There is a range of VINs & production dates that had been susceptible to engine failure. I would check the build date before buying.

what are the build dates to look for also should i just save my pennis and get a 10' or do they have the same problems

The problems were specific for a batch of cars,so cars built after that period should be good.
