beautiful car man!!!
This is a discussion on New Rex on the way within the New Member Hangout forums, part of the Community - Meet other Enthusiasts category; beautiful car man!!!...
She is almost at 1000 miles and my average since picking it up is about 22.8 MPG. I have been playing around with different speeds and seeing where the mileage reaches. Obviously, the car is great on gas compared to many other cars with similar performance.
A question, why oh why doesn't this car have the more informative clock/computer? My 2008 OB and 2012 Impreza both would tell you things like miles to empty and more importantly, current MPG. Can that be upgraded or enabled?
It doesn't have it because it's a WRX and they know you didn't buy it for MPGs... lol I'm kidding.

"Isn't it amazing how smart you feel when you just aren't being stupid?"
2008 base Outback and my 2012 Impreza hatch have the better computer. While waiting for the WRX I was putting around town in a 2012 Forester and it had the same stripped down readouts as our WRX's. Just food for thought.
New pic with tint.....
Looks much better with the windows tinted!!
Anyone else ever have chicks flock over to the WRX like this?

Just became my new desktop background. The randomness of this picture simply puts a smile on my face.
You must live in the country... lol I've never had ANY animals come close to my car lol
Yeah in the country enough to have my flock of about 25-30 chickens and the occasional guinea fowl.
Hisdigness, I decided to upgrade the randomness for you. Threw in another 2012 Impreza and a refrigerator. Now you've got two backgrounds.
I had guinea fowl for a while. I let them roam the yard as they kill rattlesnakes... apparently. Eventually had to get rid of them as the noise was driving me insane.
Never would I let my chickens that close to my car! ;o)
Hear the banjos yet? Lol. Guinea fowl are either the coolest birds or the worst birds ever, totally a subjective deal. Look em up on the Google webs.
Was cleaning up the spare fridge to give to someone.
