Ha! There is no shortage of old people if I go into town / beaches especially during season. I'm actually what you would call SWFL in the Fort Myers-Naples area but I am further east/inland so its more country than anything else where I'm at.

Just finished up the paper work and was told that the car would be in after a few hours, cleaned, and ready for pickup tomorrow morning. On my 25 mile drive home I pass the car on the highway.....oh the agony! Tomorrow morning will be great.

Lol, just two pics? Gotta show it off
Looks like you got the STI STS with the STI knob. Does that bother you at all that you're driving a WRX but have a knob that says STI on it? I'm getting that "performance" package or whatever too, but I wish I the knob didn't say STI on it... They have pretty much the same exact knob, but says WRX on it, I'm hoping I can trade.

OK I will post some more images now :-) That isn't the standard shift knob for the sti either. If you get that package on the STI it would have the STS and a shifter marked 6. I dont really care one way or the other, take it or leave it as far as the STi marking.

Look'n good! I would highly suggest some sort of "clear bra" protection for the paint. It was a must have when we purchased our 10' STI

How come? And are you referring to something like Xyilon (spelling?) on the entire exterior or just some clear material on the nose of the car? Known issues with the paint on these guys?

The paint is terrible, I haven't heard anything good about the paint on our WRX's. I'm honestly worried the car from the time I take it off the lot to the time I take it to the shop to get a clear bra. Hopefully they'll be able to put it on the following day or I might just leave the car in the garage until they have time to do it.
